Terms

These draft terms cover the developer-stage Scrollsmith website and free extension build. They should receive professional legal review before a public commercial launch.

Current availability

The website, extension, and account foundation are provided for preview and testing. No public production account service, premium access, paid subscription, or cloud synchronization service is currently available.

Acceptable use

Use Scrollsmith lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt the product, bypass future access controls, distribute malicious modifications under the Scrollsmith name, or misrepresent affiliation with Scrollsmith.

Third-party websites and browsers

Scrollbar behavior depends on browser capabilities and website implementation. Scrollsmith does not control third-party websites, Chrome policies, or changes to browser APIs.

Intellectual property

The Scrollsmith name, original theme designs, website presentation, and product code remain subject to their applicable ownership and license terms. Loading the developer build does not transfer ownership.

No warranty at this stage

The developer build is provided as available for testing. Compatibility may vary, and features may change before release.

Changes

These terms will be revised before production accounts or payments launch. Material commercial terms, jurisdiction, liability language, and subscription rules still require final business and legal decisions.
